Internship Opportunities

The Evergreen Center offers both paid and unpaid internship opportunities, to those completing certification requirements in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Paid Internships

Interns are eligible to be hired in a variety of positions in either the school or one of our thirteen community residences.

Interns wishing to commit to consistent weekly schedules may be hired as Non-Certified Teachers, working up to 40 hours a week.  These positions are benefit eligible and may include tuition support towards the completion of their program.  BCBA supervision hours will be provided in order to meet the requirements to sit for the BCBA examination.

Interns interested in a more flexible schedule, may be hired as "substitute" staff.  Substitute staff schedule their hours on a weekly basis, and may work as little as eight or as much as forty hours a week.  This position also affords interns with the opportunity to receive BCBA supervision hours.

Unpaid Internships

Interns may also meet their BCBA supervision requirements through an unpaid experience, primarily at the Central Education Facility.  These opportunities may be scheduled for as little as several hours a week.

All Interns must meet the minimum qualifications for their assigned position and comply with all standard hiring practices of the agency.
